RequestHow to request deletion
Email ian@todayinnetwork.com with the subject “Facebook data deletion request.” Include the email address you submitted and the city newsletter or Facebook Page involved. Sending from that email address can help us verify a newsletter request. For a comment or message, include the Facebook name or profile identifier associated with the interaction and, if available, a link or a short description and approximate date. You do not need to know a lead, form, ad, or campaign ID. Do not send a password or government identification document.
VerificationWhat happens next
We will use the information in your request to locate the relevant records and may ask for limited additional information to verify that the request concerns you. After verification, we will delete or de-identify the signup and Facebook interaction records we control, subject to any limited records we must retain under applicable law. If a specific record must be retained, we will explain that in our reply. We will reply when the request has been completed and explain any remaining limitations.
ScopeWhat this request can remove
A verified request can cover the email address and form responses we received through an Instant Form, signup and consent records, related lead, form, Page, ad, and campaign identifiers, processing history, and linked subscriber information. It can also cover copies of Facebook Page comments or messages, Facebook identifiers and display names, interaction timestamps, related post or object identifiers, stored webhook data, interaction history, and related draft or audit records held by Today in Network.
This process does not delete content or account information held by Meta or remove a comment or message from Facebook itself. Use Facebook’s own controls to delete that content from Facebook. If your deletion request identifies a newsletter subscription, we will also stop sending that newsletter. To stop emails without requesting deletion, use the unsubscribe link in an email. Limited suppression records may be retained where necessary to honor your opt-out and permitted by applicable law.
